A friend took me to an area with some cool hiking spots! And some pretty scenery in general.
Tried eating campfire food for the first time. It was super cool, I love steak!!!
I wanted to show my friends archery! It's not too difficult to find stuff where I'm from, but it was kind of more challenging to find what I was looking for here... But nevertheless, I got to show them what it was like to shoot a bow and arrow! (They ended up being better at it than me.)
So much good food all around! I don't have much of this sort of thing where I live either. I'm surprised how many places stay open from 2-5am.
I had a lot of fun cooking and baking stuff with shawn. We hand-made pasta for the first time! Some with egg some with just water.
I chipped away at my personal project a bit on my down time. These days I'm slower at a personal project... But I'm happy with how it's coming along! Chipping away at cutscene images for now. Things like bosses and minigames are complete and have been for awhile now, so much so that I forgot how to even "program" those. Surely there won't bugs... I don't have any good progress photos to share of this.
Sometime before the trip I cleared pilgrim's traverse! I probably forgot how to fight the bosses already. I'm not playing the game too often at the moment, but I like the new glamour changes coming soon! I wished for that kind of thing before, I like the idea of mixing armor with healing gears.
After canada, my friend offered to drive me back to the states! I was worried at first this would be difficult since it was a long drive... I had a flight booked back, and there were so many delays on the flight that I would've gotten home at the same time as being driven back. Strange how that works.
We mostly stayed at my friend bemmpo's place. It was a fancy treat having a car, wowow you can go anywhere with car. We went to this museum with a neat exhibit of a circle and lights.
Before my friend left, I was given a gift! Cool light thing. I drew on it and made a little animation.
