I did some artwork for the Square Enix and Undertale collaboration stuffs. I drew some art for a shirt and an album. These are available here and here.
Shawn's knitting got me interested in knitting. My mom likes to knit as well and also has been going through a knitting phase, so she taught me how to make a few different patterns. I'm knitting a few gifts for friends (square, a hat,)
Bemmpo finally got me to play the pokemon mobile tcg game after a year. I now play it each day and am also addicted to that along with ffxiv. Sometimes I'm playing both at the same time.
I'm making pretty good progress on my personal project! I'm working it in a strange way...
As mentioned in my previous entry, I finished all the bosses and minigames, and the intro. Right now, I'm drawing cutscene illustrations. I'm a little worried with how much the game is bulking up... gbstudio works within a 4MB limitation (to play on a gameboy color), and I'm currently reaching 1MB without getting into the center meat of the game (the travelling and everything inbetween bosses and minigames(wow gameplay)). But, maybe most of that space should be used up in places like boss rooms, so maybe it's fine...
Another concern is there's currently no music and placeholder sounds, so I imagine that's going to take up a fair amount of space as well. Well... I'll hope for the best! I guess things like going from A -> B might get limited depending on how wreckless I am with the space I have left.
This game wasn't meant to take too long to make and likely if I was my old self, I'd have finished this by now. But, all my recreational/off time doesn't go to this kind of thing anymore, I try to put it in different places like self care or playing videogames or whim hobbies like baking/knitting or going outside. It'll get finished eventually! I don't know if I'll make more games in my off time after this until deltarune is complete. (unless it's like a silly weekend project or something). It'll be a conclusion to the current story that exists between escaped chasm and dweller's empty path.
