GUIDES
I really love this content and have spent much time here. During that time, I made lots of little guides and doodles. Here's a few of them!
Logos actions are what makes this content so much fun! You can do some really wacky combinations, my favorite part is being a real dragoon tank! You shouldn't skip them... But I know it can be overwhelming. The most fun part for me was finding out there was more to Eureka than an end goal, see if you can find it for yourself!
Skoll prep is a lot of fun! It's simple, but it's also very easy to mess up and wipe. It's a nice little challenge to do it solo with large pulls, but an elemental buff and +2 gear is reccomended.
I've seen a lot of people die to some mechanics here, but it's really simple if you know this trick!
I drew this doodle for myself to remember what shapes do what for Ozma..!
CLOUD DC
Cloud DC was a temporary DC that lasted for a week that encouraged people from different regions to try it out. They gave you full story and job skips so you can jump into almost any content. Forray zones like Bozja and Eureka would still start you off at 0 though. It was fun! My friend and I went through eureka, getting all the way up to elemental level 60 and clearing BA in that time frame. We met a few nice people interested in the challenge and I practiced my bad japanese. It was like a little dream that you'd awaken from after 7 days. I won't forget it!
INITIAL JOURNEY
My initial journey through Eureka was long! But it felt very satisfying to get the ozma mount after BA! I initially started the content as I finished Stormblood in 2022. I didn't really know how to play the game well, and this was my first MMO. There was a lot of things I didn't know, and mechanics were difficult for me to understand. Learning and clearing BA a few times helped me play the game better, and I stopped dying to every mechanic in normal content afterwards.
FINAL THOUGHTS
I was addicted to BA for awhile, I joined runs often and liked the atmosphere of them. As more time passed, I got curious about the people who stay in eureka and don't leave after they finished whatever goals they had.
I learned there's many different ways to interpret or play this kind of open world content. I've made friends and learned how to play the game better through my time. It's a really fun content, and it makes me interested in trying something like FF11, since I've heard it's like Super Eureka. I did actually buy FF11, but I couldn't get it to start on my computer... Maybe one day.
